Dr. Emily Parham fares from the north, where she grew up 60 miles south of Chicago, Illinois. As an avid athlete participating in soccer, gymnastics and cheerleading, it was fitting that she received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she continued her cheer career for the Temple Owls. With a lifelong passion for helping people maintain their health, she decided to further her education. Doing so gave her the ability and accessibility to care for people. She attended National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic. While a student, she was an active board member of the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA) and ChiroGames Club, as well as, a member of the Lambda Chi sorority.

Following graduation, Dr. Parham gave up the cold Illinois winters and moved to Anderson, South Carolina to begin her Chiropractic practice. After establishing her career, she moved to Elberton, opened Granite City Family Chiropractic in March 2016 and married husband Cory in July 2016. In December 2018, they welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Adaline Rose, and in March 2021, sweet Ashlyn Claire, to the GCFC family.

When Dr. Parham is not returning her patients to their optimal health and wellness, she is an adjunct professor at Athens Technical College, a member of P.E.O., perfecting her pot pies and homemade bread and caring for the Parham ‘farm’ of chickens and ducks.

Dr. Parham is enthusiastic about creating a positive patient experience and looks forward to helping your family achieve complete health and wellness.
